Keele University

The Story - Keele University attracts students, academics and professional staff drawn from over 100 different countries. That rich mix of cultures and our strong sense of community and cohesion provide opportunities for all staff and students to live, work and socialise in an internationalised environment. This enhances our global outlook and helps Keele act as a local and regional gateway to the rest of the world. Their commitment to excel in the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion agenda stretches further than just complying with legislation, and wanting to make a real difference to everyone within the wider Keel community.

The Solution - our journey started with Keele University in 2013 where we supported many schools within the university to identify the areas they needed to improve in, design the programmes and deliver a series of training events to support, academic staff, professional services and students. We are still on that journey currently exploring team and department culture, issues relating to unconscious bias as well as Inclusive Leadership training for Leaders across the university.

"I was impressed with Lisa from when we were first introduced - she quickly grasped the issues we were facing and came up with solutions I hadn't previously considered. She then tailored a session to my department's needs and delivered it very effectively, so that the positive benefits were felt immediately. I have recommended her to other colleagues and will no doubt be doing so again."
