value it is a mark that this
program has passed the very highest standards in design

Aim:
The role of the Trainer is
crucial in supporting an integrated
approach to managing diversity
within the workplace. The
skills, abilities, knowledge
and understanding required
of a trainer to role model
and provide this type of training,
not only as a “stand
alone” module, but perhaps
more importantly to also integrate
it seamlessly into all skills
training are a considerable
challenge.
In order to support the organisations
to meet this challenge, IODA
have developed a Diversity
Trainers Programme in partnership
with the National Awarding
Body, EdExcel.
This accreditation provides
all delegates with an independent
and academically underpinned
qualification which will withstand
all scrutiny both within the
organisation and the wider
community
This interactive programme
provides delegates with all
the practical skills, abilities,
in-depth knowledge and understanding
of diversity issues required
by trainers within a Modern
Organisation.
It assists staff involved
with all aspects of training
to integrate Equality and
Fairness into their learning
events in a relevant and practical
manner.
This includes not only the
delivery but also the design,
planning and assessment process.
Organisations are increasingly
training more and more of
their training team in this
important area, thereby ensuring
that the training provision
supplied by their in-house
trainers is delivered in the
