Project Management - For Small Jobs
Background:

When the term Project Management is heard, most people will associate it with major projects and PRINCE2.  Capital projects are managed by specialist individuals and teams.  However, the majority of managers will be unwittingly running a myriad of small projects every day.  Giving these managers the knowledge and understanding of a practical project lifecycle, the setting of milestones and reviews brings confidence and increased efficiency.  Allowing managers the opportunity to develop these extra skills not only improves their performance but also their team, the quality of outcome and the cost for the organisation.

Overview:

This course provides a broad understanding of the key principles involved in project management as well as exposure to some of the more common aspects of this subject.  Using a wide range of methodologies, it incorporates group and case exercises to present an overview of the more familiar aspects of managing projects.
Please note this is not an accredited Project Management Course.
