The Manager as a Coach and Developer
Background:

Training courses have their place in broadening the skills of an organisation.  However, an excellent source of information for staff development is the experiences and skills of the organisation's managers.  This knowledge resource is often overlooked and ignored because the manager does not feel equipped to carry out this role.  An in-house supply of information and experience that has been developed in an environment that is understood and recognised by all staff is an invaluable source for any institution.

Overview:

To provide managers with the skills of a coach requires a course which is both practical and interactive. Throughout the session, the delegates learn theory blended with practical exercises.

Aims:
  • To provide an overview of the role of a coach in the context of your organisation
  • enable line managers to coach and support participants in the workplace
Programme Duration:

This half day or 1 day programme is prepared and presented in-house exclusively for your organisation at a time and location that suits you. This programme requires a minimum of 8 delegates.

Programme Delegates:

These sessions are for Line Managers with responsibility for coaching in the workplace.
