Understanding and Tackling Racism
Background:

This course is not for the faint hearted. describes its business as 'an out of seat experience', none more so than this course. Issues of racism and racist behaviour continue to fill the headlines in the national press and across the media. Just consider the Shilpa Shetty case and Big Brother with current issues that appear to reinforce negative messages. Language is still used as a powerful tool to categorise people purely as a result of their colour, nationality or ethnicity.
