We design each training programme to meet your specific needs in terms of aims, objectives, delegate’s needs, organisational culture, resources, budget and delivery style and outcomes.

Aim:

To allow delegates to raise their awareness and gain knowledge and insight of the predominant Faiths and Religions of minority ethnic groups.

To develop their understanding of the different Faiths and Religions, to assist with the provision of fair and appropriate quality of service.

To understand why targets, action planning and monitoring, all have to take place within a well-defined time-frame, to assist in providing appropriate targeted services

  • Understand the concepts of Religion, Faith and Culture and identify the main religions and faiths of the area, e.g. Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Judaism
  • Recognise the links between religion, faith and behaviour internally and externally
  • Ensure that participants behave within current legislation and organisational guidelines
  • Understand the organisational and personal responsibilities under the legislation.
  • Understand the need for consultation and input from different faith and religious groups in delivering a proportionate service
  • Recognise the importance of examining the dominant personal, organisational and social cultures impact on religious groups
  • Identify how religious and faith factors can exclude equal access
  • Understand the need to examine personal values, beliefs and attitudes to ensure these reflect an understanding of different faith and religious groups, internal and external
  • Recognise the importance of faith and religious specific quantitative and qualitative consumer feedback.
  • Understand various Religious and faith concerns regarding Institutional Discrimination
Programme Duration:

This One Day programme is prepared and presented in-house exclusively for your organisation at a time and location that suits you. This programme requires a minimum of 8 delegates
