Level 3 Managing Equality & Diversity (Open College Network)
Background:

The role of the Supervisor and Manager is crucial in supporting and integrating Equality & Diversity within the workplace.

The skills, abilities, knowledge and understanding required of these key people and to role model and challenge inappropriate behaviour is vital for organisational success implementing and managing legislation, polices and everyday work place Equality & Diversity issues.

In order to support the organisations to meet this challenge,  have developed a Managing Equality & Diversity qualification in partnership with the national awarding body, Open College Network.  This accreditation provides all delegates with an independent and academically underpinned qualification which will withstand all scrutiny both within the organisation and the wider community.

Overview:
 
This type of accredited training, which has a clear audit trail, demonstrates best practice and a clear linkage to organisation goals and individual needs.

It provides delegates with the opportunity to achieve National Accreditation, underpinning their expertise and competence, at a value for money investment.Delegates will receive clear, practical help and advice on a whole range of issues relevant to all modern organisations which have a diverse workforce.

Aim:

  • To equip delegates with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide an informal first point of contact for employees experiencing conflict or problems in the work place

Qualification:

Level 3 Qualification in Managing Equality & Diversity in the Workplace from National Open College Network

Programme Duration:

This programme is prepared and presented in-house exclusively for your organisation at a time and location that suits you. This programme requires a minimum of 8 delegates.  Participants are required to complete Open and Distance Learning activities, attend a 3 day development workshop and complete post workshop material.
