The accumulation of ioda's experience and knowledge has resulted in one of the most comprehensive one-week courses on the subject of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion. Included within the cost of the course is an opportunity to gain a national qualification in Managing Equality and Diversity.

This programme explores equality issues and topics that all effective managers, advisors, HR professionals and trainers must understand to make a difference within their organisation. It is designed for those relatively new to the subject of Equality & Diversity or those who wish to update, refresh and confirm their existing knowledge. It is an invaluable opportunity to establish nationwide contacts and an Equality network that can last for years after the course finishes. Delegates come from across a broad spectrum of organisations including Local Authorities, the Fire, Police, Ambulance and Probation Services, colleges, government departments, voluntary and private sector institutions.

In this programme, your candidates will meet and learn from specialist and highly experienced Equality and Diversity and management trainers. Two days of the course are dedicated to meeting and engaging with ioda's Community Visitors who talk and discuss their life experiences in 'Diverse Britain'. They are often the most popular sessions of the week and their insight brings the six Equality strands to life. Delegates have the opportunity to ask all those questions they have often wondered about, dispel those myths and stereotypes and take their newly acquired information and experience back to the workplace. Community Visitors can include people from Asian, Christian, Disabled, Muslim, Gay, Jewish, Transgender and Black backgrounds.
